Drum Thickener - KD 30

The KD 30 Drum Thickener represents a reliable and proven machine designed to minimise service and maintenance costs.

This pre-waterer is successfully used to concentrate sewage sludge, and dewatering municipal biological surplus sludge typically achieves a significant increase in concentration from around 0.5%TS to approximately 13%TS.

The Drum Thickener is especially suitable for situations where further treatment of the sludge is required, such as in digesters or similar facilities. This is due to the possibility to place a pump directly below the sludge discharge, which facilitates the subsequent process.
