Aqua Culture

For the focus area Aqua Culture, KD Group develops and produces solutions for RAS systems - Recirculation Aquaculture Systems. A RAS system is a fully recirculated and often land-based aquaculture system where fish and shellfish are farmed in large freshwater or saltwater systems.

KD Group designs and engineers solutions and equipment for the treatment of wastewater from RAS plants.

We customise our equipment to the specific scale and capacity of the RAS plant in question. We work closely with our customers to understand their needs. We design customised solutions that maximise the efficiency and reliability of wastewater treatment, and our technologies are both energy efficient and reliable.

This means our customers can focus on what's important to them.

A RAS system utilises small amounts of fresh water from groundwater or the sea. The system itself is based on highly developed purification technology such as mechanical and biological filters, ultraviolet light and more.
