About KD Group
From traditional machine factory to innovative cleantech company
1964
KD Maskinfabrik was founded by master blacksmith Kaj Dalgaard in December 1964 in Vejle and carried out forging work for both private individuals and small businesses under the name Kaj Dalgaard's Smede- & Maskinværksted.
1970
From the 1970s onwards, KD Maskinfabrik has worked closely with Krüger to design solutions for wastewater treatment, and quality has always been our trademark.
2000
In 2000, KD Maskinfabrik moved to new modern surroundings on Karetmagervej in Vejle. Here, design, production, management, sales, marketing and other administrative functions are centralised. KD Maskinfabrik changed its name to "KD Group" as the company was transformed into a modern cleantech company.
The change is also due to the combination of increasing sales and increased co-operation with various export markets in Europe and the Middle East.
2020
In January 2020, a new group of owners took over KD Group and appointed new management and board of directors.
KD Group defined a new product and market strategy and new initiatives were launched. The new business area Aqua Culture quickly became an important focus.
In addition, KD Group also began to develop the Danish market with a greater focus on new technologies and to strengthen design and sales to the Danish wastewater companies.

KD Group is today among Denmark's leading suppliers of technological solutions for wastewater treatment and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
For more than 50 years, KD Group has been designing, manufacturing and installing mechanical equipment for wastewater treatment plants in Denmark and abroad.
In recent years, KD Group has undergone a transformation from a traditional forging and machine workshop to a modern, innovative cleantech company. Through close dialogue with our customers and partners, we focus on creating innovative, high-quality solutions and improved environmental technology.
Today, KD Group consists of three business units: Wastewater, which supplies solutions and machinery for wastewater treatment, and Aqua Culture, which develops solutions that recycle wastewater into technical water in the food industry.
We are happy to break new ground with customers and universities to create the most innovative and sustainable solutions for the world's wastewater industries, such as microplastic removal and wastewater recycling.
